As a kid I use to watch this show on a regular basis. I found the T-Rex and Sleestak the most interesting parts. I always thought the father and kids related and acted the same way like they did on Little House on the Prairie. Of course every parent/kid relationship was played like that back then wasn't it? Everybody liked to cry.

What's sad is a Sleestak from a 1974 kids TV show will likely wind up looking waaay cooler than The Lizard from a Spider-Man big-budget movie made in 2011!!!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I'm 47, and I enjoy this show as much today as I did when I was ten years old. The third season was weak compared to the first two seasons, but still enjoyable.

I LOVE this show! I have pretty much all of seasons 1 & 2 on tape, and part of season 3. This was a bit oif a departure from the trippy Krofft stuff made before and even after this show. It wasn't just a kid's show, it was cool science fiction, w/ writers like D.C. Fontana and Walter Koenig. The first 2 seasons were the best though. Just wasn't the same after Spencer Mulligan left. I think my 3 fave eps are Elsewhen, Hurricane and Follow That Dinosaur.

No doubt. I LOVED this show when it was on Saturday mornings back when I was a kid in the 70's. I have all three seasons on DVD, & nowadays, when I watch em, I still really enjoy them. When watching the episodes, for some reason I reminisce about trading cards. To my knowledge, there were never any Topps Land of the Lost trading cards, but I probably would watch it when it was on, and then walk down to the grocery store and get some Planet of the Apes, or those black & White "Funny Monsters" trading cards.... I don't know know why else I associate the show with cards. Probably just same time period.... When watching, I also think about Levi's cord jeans & Wallabees... Man... Being a kid in the 70's was great...

No, just the one in the regular box. The lunch box one would have been super sweet.

I loved the show and haven't seen it in ages. I owned the H.R. Pufnstuf VHS tapes years ago when my kids were small....watched it with them and realized it is a great show for kids but kind of blah to watch as an adult.

Great show. I never missed it in the 70's and bought the DVDs a few years ago.
Looking to buy Mego Micronauts in brown JCPenney/Sears mailer boxes.
