A question for any TIME/LIFE Six Million Dollar Man box set owners...

Now that SMDM seasons are available in stores, is the only difference with the box set the bonus DVD? In other words, are the season DVD's within the box set identical to the ones currently at retail? To reword the same question, If I buy all the seasons individually at retail...would I only be missing the special Bonus DVD that's in the box set? Any info would be helpful guys!

From what I Know Season 1 is only one released in stores right now and no word on the releases of the individual rest of the Series from Universal I have actually seen the new Season 1 set in a store last week and compared to the Time Life Box set its a slimmer case design but eveything in the Time Life Season 1 is in the Store version Season 1. but for the rest of the Seasons I could not tell you if everything or extras will be released that came with the Time Life Box Set . Universal is releasing them under their name .from now own Time Life only had an agreement to sell for one year .as for the Bonus disc set thats came with the Time Life Box set I doubt you will find that individually released in the commercial stores in the future

    Hope this makes sense Lou

Thanks Mike. That was the main question, what I'd be missing out on. I kind of like buying them a season at a time and I can live without the talking box set and such. As long as I have all the actual video as the Time/Life set (sans the Bonus Disc which I suspect I'll always be able to pick up separately on E-bay). If there's little extras and such missing on the actual DVD's, that's what I'm most concerned about. So content-wise, the retail versions have everything the Time/Life Season 1's have right? Thanks for the info Mike, Happy New Year!

I bought the first three seasons and was disappointed to not see 4 and 5 follow. Now I found the boxed set for $100. Will be picking it up tomorrow, then I'll be selling the 3 seasons I already own.

I too will be interested to see if they're exactly the same content.

Season 5 is cool because it contains Return of the Deathprobe and the Steve goes to the Moon episode

The Bonus disc has the 3 re-union movies and the syndicated versions of 3 movies from the season 1 set and 11 featurettes.

I hope it dose the bonus disc is 80 dollars on amazon for that price I'd just buy the box set.
