I thought the same thing, he had that little speech about writer's block and changing the story mid-stream...then lo and behold, who shows up NOT dead after all at the end of the episode. I'm wondering if he has a 2nd book where he is changing what happens in Storybrooke...

I wasn't buying the reasoning behind Regina's hatred of Snow...it's quite obvious that the 9 year old kid was manipulated by Regina's mother. The grudge should be against her mother and not the adult Snow...even Regina should be able to see that.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Nah, same old story - lash out at those you can, not those you are powerless against.
Until next week's episode, of course.
The writer's name is August, which is an odd name. The Brothers Grimm had a friend called August who collated folk tales.Even My Henchmen Think I'm Crazy.Comment

I think I've figured out who the writer is..they gave a bunch of clues last night:
1. He's looking for his father, seperated back in Story Book Land.
2. He's a magical creature, who needs magic to stay ALIVE.
3. As the magic in him wears away, his body is stiffening.
4. He is working with the nuns (who were the fairies in Story Land), and the head nun was The Blue Fairy.
5. He has been manipulating the people in StoryBrooke (i.e. "pulling their strings").
6. He's been avoiding the psychiatrist in town.
Any guesses?Comment

8. Online speculation pegged him as Baelfire or.... And Baelfire has been ruled out

All through the show I kept waiting for Pinocchio's nose to grow.
I really like how the writers took the story back to give a better understanding of what went on in the beginning. For instance how the wardrobe came about being made and etc.
The shows have really been good. The way they animated Pinocchio almost made him seem real. Amazing!Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

Finally caught up, it's all a bit too precious at times, although I guess that is the point... These are versions of Disney's animated characters after all.
Really liked the two contrasting father and son episodes. With jiminy cricket and Gepetto shown so early, they obviously had this story in the wings for a while.
Looking forward to rumplestilkskin's son's storyline playing through.Comment
