RIP Charles Napier

With Steve Jobs passing away yesterday, another celebrity passing was somewhat obscured, veteran actor Charles Napier passed away at 75.

Napier had an impressive amount of credits, he did a guest appearance on just about every TV show in the 60s and 70s, was in 3 Russ Meyer movies and did voices on everything from Justice League to the Simpsons.

A lot of us will remember him as Adam from the "Way to Eden" episode of Trek and I always laughed at how he said "England" in the Austin Powers movies.

Okay... I knew he looked familiar. He played Murdock in Rambo First Blood Pt II. Sorry to hear that. He was a fine actor. I believe he appeared in a couple of episodes of Starsky and Hutch too.

Worked with Charlie on "Hell Comes to Frogtown II"-- Really great guy, who poked fun at Ferrigno all day long. His impression of big Lou was spot on and funny as hell-- Everyone loved him. RIP Charlie.

Of Mego interest, Mr. Napier also provided the growls, roars and screams for the Incredible HULK in the tv series in the 70s.
