with George Lucas screwing around so much of the Original Trilogy and alienating his older fans with his dumb arse changes. Classic Trek is looking much better these days the tv series and the orginal crew films

Apart from both having space ships I don't even think they're in the same genre. To me Star Trek is sci-fi and Star Wars is fantasy.
I'm talking about the original 3 Star Wars movies of course, I think the prequels WERE derivative of Star Trek Next Generation in a lot of ways.
Hearing Shatner say "Princess Leia-ah" is pretty awesome though.Comment
