Also pulled.

But just searched again, and found a few that have so far escaped the Death Star's superlaser.Last edited by Bruce Banner; Sep 20, '11, 7:35 AM.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

Just came across this:
“Unidentified Mon Calamari pilot
Hasbro's Comic Con presentation revealed the character will have an action figure, and confirmed he is an A-wing pilot.”
Wonderful! A pilot without a name in a scene that was never part of the movie is now getting a figure! And who says George Lucas is not milking this franchise for all it’s worth?Comment

I dunno; even back in the glory days they did all sorts of add ons and also-rans. Death Star Droid as part of the SECOND wave? Imperial Troop Transport and Droid Factory weren't from the movies. Neither were the mini-rigs. (Although I know they make a lot of the hardcore collectors cringe....)
I'd MUCH rather see a new guy over ANOTHER Vader. Even as a kid, a completely new guy would have given me an opportunity to make up his story on my own.

When I was still running a SciFi convention, the guy who had played "the tail of Jabba" once offered to come as a special guest, selling autographs.
We declined....

Jabba Tail: “No, just the tail?”
Kid: “What?”
Jabba Tail: “Back in the 1980s Jabba the Hut was this big costume!!! And I was the tail!!!”
Kid: “What did you do?”
Jabba Tail: “I just moved a stick around…”
Kid: “Where’s the bathroom?”
Jabba Tail: “Give me 2 dollars and I’ll personally tell you!”Comment

I watched some of these with my son this weekend, after 30 plus years of wanting to see the Biggs Darklighter scenes, I'm sort of glad they weren't in the final picture.
The extended Cantina scene was a treat and I sort of enjoyed seeing the Wampa attacks, even if they looked "Doctor Who from 1979" bad.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions
