With the new POTA film buzzing I don't recall this getting much attention. Story from last year:
"These band of apes, called “BILI” are, according to local legend, apes that kill lions, catch fish...It lives in the northern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo in central Africa. It is highly elusive and lives in very difficult to reach areas...t has been reported that these apes, which often walk upright, can stand up to 6 – 6.5 feet tall...and have 14 – 15 inch feet... The apes have a more flat face, with a wide muzzle and most strikingly gray fur all over their face and bodies."
