Honourable mentions, very hard not fit these girls into the top 5 somewhere, but they didn't quite make it.

Ace .. Independant and strong willed. Always ready with a baseball bat to beat the **** out of some alien, or a home made explosive to blow something up ... 7th Doctor companion.

Peri Brown .. Bit of a scream queen. Always held my attention though with her face, and her other 2 standout attributes Too bad she got lumbered with that DUD of a 6th Doctor ... 5th and 6th Doctor companion.

I really liked him too. Watching him recently he kinda comes across as a competent guy who's just in WAY over his head. It's funny that he was in so few episodes since I thought of him as one of THE companions as a kid.
