I don't believe Ridley would "re-make" Blade Runner. And I really don't like the idea of Blade Runner being messed with...it's one of my all time favorite movies. I'm not in the least bit interested in a prequel...but I'm might be intrigued with a sequel if Harrison Ford were in it. But I have really mixed feelings on the subject.

We don't need another Blade Runner. The original is perfectly fine. Now a sequel maybe, with a younger guy playing a different Blade Runner would be okay, with the obligatory cameo from Harrison Ford, of course....!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Wow...re-casting Deckard. I can't even begin to think of who I'd cast.

They should just use the same exact cast again and call it "Old Bladerunner."

Had it been from any other filmmaker...I'd be enraged.

Blade Runner is a true masterpiece.

But this is RIDLEY SCOTT, folks!

              I repeat...RIDLEY SCOTT!

We do NOT question Mr Scott...one of my all time favorite directors.

If he wants a new Blade Runner...I want a new Blade Runner.

              I fully trust this man.

              Simple as that.

Bladerunner is one of my favorite films and I think it should stand the test of time. If it's a prequel or distant sequel I may accept it more.

Amazing that Blade Runner was not a box office hit...it barely broke even...but that tells you of its cult status legs...and accolades from almost anyone...now it's considered one of the greatest films ever made.

                    Exactly.

                    If it's a complete remake...then no...I don't want it made.

But not opposed to either a prequel or a sequel...nothing wrong with that...as long as it's a well made product...not like those awful new Star Wars flicks...lol.

But I'm not too worried about that...Ridley Scott is a much superior director than George Lucas...not even close.

If it were Lucas, I'd be afraid he'd change the end to have Roy let Deckard fall off the rooftop.

Ok, if it's going to happen(and it is)...here's how "I think" they should do it. New character! I'm thinking Clive Owen would be a good choice. He's a good actor and did well with the "Film Noir" style in Sin City.

I'll take a new Blade Runner if Ridley Scott is doing it.

In the meanwhile, I am ridiculously excited for the Alien prequel Promethius.
