      Back to the future
Terminator 1 and 3 (didn't like 2 thanks to edward furlong)
      Planet of the Apes 68
      Time Cop (just kidding)
Quantum Leap - OK so it isn't a movie but it is the best

i'm sure there are others I like - just can't think of 'em.

      Does Superman the Movie count?

I really like the movie 'Returner'. Most people haven't even heard of it. I think it's really cool. You should give it a try.

For the sake of seriousness, I guess I'd have to put TIME AFTER TIME at the top of my list just because MM really knocked it out of the ballpark at H.G. Wells and David Warner was great as Jack the Ripper. Plus, Mary Steenburgen! Who doesn't like Mary Steenburgen! And she was great in this (but to really see her at the top of her form, check out the much neglected Disney Christmas movie "One Magic Christmas--excellent, and, now that I think about it, kind of a time-travel movie, too!)

Loved THE FINAL COUNTDOWN just for the fact that, even though we didn't stop the Pearl Harbor bombing, we still kicked some Japanese donkey in that flick!

Love the BTTF movies, but the first one will always be the best one to me because it was so fresh at the time and was out when I was a younger, less cynical version of myself.

Like the Terminator movies, all of 'em, but again, the first one is special I guess because it was first and really made you think about things. Plus, we got to see Linda Hamilton's boobies! Always a bonus!i

TIME BANDITS because it's just great.

Any episode of DOCTOR WHO (I know, not a movie, but BETTER than most movies) just because to him, the past, present and future are all ONE THING.

I really enjoyed JOURNEYMAN on NBC even though NBC never really gave it a chance.

And QUANTUM LEAP....Such a great show. Just sad that Sam never got home. Maybe someday....!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I used to watch that all the time on cable when I was in 7th Grade or so. Does it still hold up well? I might need to grab that on DVD, if it's available. Like emeraldknight47 said, Malcolm was great in that (at least I remember it that way).

I agree with Mikey's list. wasn't really a big fan of Time Bandits though.

How could i have forgotten Somewhere in Time, Great film.

Time Rider was fun , but had the usual Paradox of most Time Travel films , which somewhere in time shares...

the item that inspires them was given them and then taken from them.....so when was the item actually made?

I always kind of liked Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann.
I remember renting it on video in the early 80s.

It holds up good, but seems more slow moving today than it did back in the day.

I like Time After Time too, as well as POTA and Back to the Future 1 & 2. The 3rd one was stetching it a bit for me.

                              Hmmmm....

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. One of the few times I'd seen the characters with a time machine take advantage of it.
