Yeah. It looks kinda.... blah. Like how American takes on comic book heroes always tryt to "realistic" them up and end up sucking out all the original from them. The suits look too "Solid Snake" to me, the bad guys seem generic, and WHERE'S THE GIANT ROBOT ANIMAL MONSTER?!?!?

IS this the American one they were working on?

Eh... cool idea but they look a little too 'synthetic' for my tastes. "Gatchaman" or the American version, "Battle of the Planets", were very stylized with lots of personality to them. Not to mention a great soundtrack. That has to be part of any modern incarnation and that seems to be missing here.

Yeah, they seem to have boiled out some of the appeal making it somewhat generic. Did this ever come out?
