Oh wait... I have to correct my list:
1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Star Wars
3. Turkish Star Wars
4. Holiday Special
5. Return of the Jedi
6. [ANY] of the original series "Making Of" documentaries.
7. ... ... Nope. I was going to say Clone Wars, but just the shorts. Didn't bother with the movie.
8. No, that's right! Attack of the Clones... I watched it in a theater just like all the other prequels, but this one actually put me to sleep - I like that I felt really refreshed when I woke up, even though the movie hadn't ended yet.Last edited by Tothiro; Jul 22, '11, 4:32 PM.Comment

just Star Wars, love it as a stand alone movie. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Dammit! Now I have to revise my list too:
1. Turkish Star Wars
2. The Empire Strikes Jedi
3. Jedi Returns Back
4. Jedi Strikes The Empire Back
5. The Return of the Empire Strikes Back
6. The Empire's Jedi Returns Back Again
I think that's all of them, right?Comment

I need a link or a burn to Turkish SW before I amend my original post.
btw: the question asked was about movies, and not TV or specials, thus I am not including that fluff in my list. If I did, I would have to include my 3/4" video extravaganza "The Empire Strikes Out" circa 1981. yazzzza!!Comment

Imagine if today the prequels and special editions were never made.
Weird thinking Lucas would still be respected by Star Wars fans
I hate to say this but in comparison, I think Gene Roddenberry secured his respect from fans by dying relatively early in Star Trek's lifetime.Comment

rant out against the prequels doesn't mean what you're saying is the truth...
far from it."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

I've avoided watching the prequels until just a few days ago. I finally watched episodes I & II and I didn't think that they were nearly as awful as a lot of fans make them out to be.
I was 12 years old when the original Star Wars came out. I consider myself to be a fan of the original trilogy, but I'm not a fanatic. Star Wars isn't my religion like it is with some people.
I'll watch 'Sith' in a couple of days. I still haven't watched any of the expanded editions of the original three films, but I probably will one day, out of curiosity, if nothing else.
I do find it incredibly strange that Lucas acts like he's ashamed of the original unaltered trilogy. Without those three films, he'd only be known as the guy who directed American Graffiti and Howard The Duck.Comment
