New pics of Dwarves from The Hobbit

    http://www.geektown.co.uk/wp-content...ves-hobbit.jpg

I just ran across this pic, and about had a freak-out. I feel like an eleven-year-old again, just chomping at the bit for this to come out.

EDIT: Here's a pic of Thorin, leader of the dwarves.

sweet. as a die hard LOTR fan I cannot wait for these movies. hopefully they can make the movie a little darker than the book while still retaining some of the fun of the novel

The guy playing Thorin makes me think if a young Roger Delgado from the original Doctor Who series.

Looks like Peter Jackson is gonna give us another great trip through Middle Earth if ya ask me! I would've enjoyed seeing GDT's vision of the Hobbit, but I'm really glad Jackson is back in the director's chair. It's what he seems to be the best at...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I suppose I could just google it, but are they using real "little people"? or doing the hole (that's for Meule ) forced perspective thing again? It worked in the other movies, especially if you want a certain actor for the role. Either way is fine with me but it seems like you could get real dwarfs to play movie dwarfs. Just curious. I'm looking forward to this movie for sure.

Every pic I've seen so far is looking great!
I'm pretty sure these two Hobbit movies are going to be fairly awesome.

I couldn't be happier. Back when they first announced it, I was hoping Martin Freeman would be cast as Bilbo, but I never thought he actually would get it. He's going to blow people away--this is the part he was born to play.

I always found Tolkein's style to be unreadable so I never got through The Hobbit or LoTR. I've only seen the animated Hobbit feature, which was probably an incredibly watered down version. I absolutely adore the trilogy and what Jackson did with them. I am so ready to jump into Middle Earth again with these shots. Very cool.

Looks great. My 16 year old isn't much into movies but just asked last week "When is "The Hobbit" coming out?"
