    The Question Deciphered

I've been villains and fiends, the worst the world has faced:

Lee has played Dracula, Evil Jedi, Alien Conquerers, he even fought Captain America!

but my Mego fame is for my peaceful slumber in space.

In the episode of Space:1999 called "Earthbound", Lee played Captain Zantor who traveled through space in suspended animation. It is the only figure of a Christopher Lee character Mego ever made, it was for a short time, the only Christopher Lee figure ever made!

Good guesses but General Zod was awake in the Phantom zone, and while Tom Baker played bad guys, Doctor Who never sleeps.

This is not the end but the beginning of the July giveaways, the contest is set up so it's one prize per member so check back and check often!

          Congratulations, Mikey!

I didn't even think of Zantor and it's my favorite episode.

Just wanted to bump up this thread with a comment about Netflix.

My nephew was telling me he stopped doing Netflix a little while ago because he was tired of how much they changed for the worse within the last 6-ish months.

He don't do the watch online stuff, he just rents discs.

                      His complaints are ...

Many discs are in really bad used condition and not playable ...
It backs up your Q when having to reorder it again.
Many times discs come all beat up, scratched and even cracked.

Also, he said they are getting generally less older movies and TV shows lately and favoring only new stuff.
He has stuff in his Q listed as not available - saved, but these DVD's have been in stores for over a year.

The way he makes it sound Netflix is getting really lousy ...

I've been watching the classic Trek streams. While it is nice to see the 'remastered' TOS episodes in the mix, the encoding on them is really on the lower threshold of quality. (Especially compared to some really stellar encodings they're using, like for the classic Addams Family episodes, for example, which are the best I've ever seen the show screened.)

The Netflix streaming option keeps me more than busy enough as a viewer. I don't miss opting out of DVD delivery. Most of what I'd rent is available as a stream eventually, and anything else I'd rather just buy.

That's funny, I think Trek looks much better than Addams Family on Netflix streaming. Are you pulling an HD connection for the Treks?

I haven't gotten a damaged disc from them in years, cracked ones more than likely happen in transit. When the price hike comes next month I'm dumping the mail option and going to straight streaming. Plenty to watch there.
