I've seen Transformers 3 trailers a few times now, and it's astonishing how little I care for these movies. Yet the wife always wants to go see these things. Astonishing what a few years age different shifts the demographic.

Me neither. I saw the first one, and liked it more than I thought I would. The second one entertained me just through it's insanity and incompetence.

Personally I never cared for Transformers, the toys or cartoon.

One sign that I'm getting old... I can never figure out what's going on in these movies, and even worse is I can't tell the difference between one robot from the other. I remember how frustrated I used to get as a kid because my mom didn't know the difference between Artoo and Threepio, because it was REALLY important.

Now... whatever. Too many Star Wars characters, too many anime characters, too many Pokemon, too many Transformers that all look alike for all that I can tell.

Although the good news is I seem to be finding common ground with the kids in my life again because of the retro cartoon channels... they are now rediscovering Looney Tunes and Popeye and the rest of the stuff that I grew up with. Simpsons is still a common denominator, although not so much with the Family Guy.

Megan Fox may go the way of Lindsay Lohan and Tara Reid. Actresses who have talent but gave up being professionals just so they could persue their down-time activities.

Loved Transformers the cartoon and own the first two dvd's of the movies. Still haven't watched them. just can't seem to get the desire to put it in the player. Have watched the original animated Transformer movie twice since these came out.

the toons are the best but i honestly think you'll really like part 1...the first time i saw it, i was really amazed

I mean...I eventually watch them because I'm a movie fan...but I never catch them at the theater...I always wait for its Netflix releases...lol.
