I always tape the episode, so I must have forwarded beyond the intro.

To be honest, at times it feels like the Amy show, co-starring her whacky sidekick, the Mad Doctor.
    My thought exactly.

I think i must have said no at the time because i had not seen anything that bothered me. Now that you have put up the Amy message i can definatly say that this does not happen before our episodes. I can only assume it is for an American audience who are new to the programme, sort of like

        Previously, on Dr Who

i HATE HATE HATE it. It would be bad enough if this was Series one in 2005 and it was Rose to "fill in" the new american audience wathcing on SCI-fi/syfy what Doctor who was, but this is series 6 and this is on BBC america. I mean we watch the show because we have been watching it. people new to the show have had the annual Cathc up special before ep 1 every year

It's horrible, I hate it. It offers nothing to new fans (as it explains NOTHING) and they didn't do it for a couple of episodes, but now it's back. I thought it was fine for the debut, but in front of every episode it's horrible.

Especially when you consider that the "intro" comes well after the show has already started anyway. It adds nothing. Seems to be a BBC America thing, trying to build their audience or whatever... Except it's just ****ing off the current audience.

Do they play that intro in Canada ? ... or is just on BBC America ?
