      I tried watching that movie a few months ago.

      It was so weird I got bored with it and turned the channel

        ^^ I've never made it through the whole thing in one sitting - I'm not even sure that it's possible to do that!

        I do like it a lot though - just because it's so insane.

          I don't blame anyone... looking at Sean Connery in Zardoz for extended periods is akin to staring at a solar eclipse. It's bound to damage your eyesight.

            Well, this movie is not for everyone. Actually, thinking about it, this movie might not be for ANYONE. What's great about this film is the opening- surreal, and unlike any other movie. What problematic about Zardoz is.... pretty much everything after the opening.

            I follow the anti-cult of Zardoz. I'm glad that the film even exists.. and count myself as one of the chosen ones

              The film is caught up in that post 2001 vibe, it's trying too hard. I prefer the "the Final Programme" which can be a bit confusing as well but it's a more interesting ride.

                Yeah - the opening is mind blowing - the rest is a bit of a chore best handled with breaks.
