I doubt its too in demand, its in syndication on RTV and streaming from Netflix, so its easy to access without the dvd set

I remember when that particular set was $80.00 brand new. I would say you did pretty good.

I dunno about quality of galactica because I can only watch a few of the episodes thru without shutting it off. For 8 bucks a month you really can't beat netflix, tho. Just watched Hawaii Five O and the Twilight Zone Talking Tina episode. Seems like they are adding more cool stuff all the time.

One of the cool things about the DVD set is the quantity of deleted scenes it contains. Great for fans of the show... highly recommended.

I had it with the 'Cylon head' for a year of so.., but I couldn't play the Commentary track with Hatch, Benedict, and Jefferson..(best part of the entire set..). It kept jamming up my DVD player.

Probably a defective disk, I'll have to re-purchase it later this year.

Yes, the deleted scenes were great, as was the interviews. Great Fun!

I waited about two years to buy it, got it for around $40. Sold it for the same amount..
                      Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

It's almost impossible to compare a DVD release with the crap quality RTV plays.

After seeing the DVD it's impossible for me to watch Buck on RTV.

Not just syndication cuts, but the RTV versions are blurry, over contrasted and generally dirty with poor sound.

RTV quality is better than nothing, but that's about the best I can say for it.

I love the DVD set, I've had it since it came out in 2003. Those deleted scenes are fun to see.

I also just this year bought the CD of the show's music from a company called Intrada. Unlike the LP that was out years ago, these guys worked from the original studio masters and have all the incidental music in there too, even if it was only for a few seconds. All the disco stuff is in there, also
                            It's all good!
