Alpha News Service Announcing ALPHA: 2012

VERY prelim at this point, but I really enjoyed the last one I went to in Tampa, FL meeting Shane Rimmer, Barry Morse (his last con appearance..) and others. Great stories, being a cozier get-together than most cons.
Example: It was surreal sitting on a couch in a private suite with Shane Rimmer, watching his episode "Space Brain" together with a bunch of devoted fans. He was in most of the Bond films and 'Doctor Strangelove' so I got to talk to him about working with Peter Sellers and Kubrick.
I was even lucky enough to secure some nice one-on-one time with Mr. Morse, talking at length about his brother, when Barry saw I was wearing a military shirt..
Even got to talk to Nick Tate via voIP, which was cool. He was a last minute cancellation.
