Star Wars - my vintage Home Movie

    Star Wars the home movie
I made this in late 1977. An intro (1:24) explains a bit.
the actual film is 3 minutes long. With the intro and credits total runtime is 5:00

Please tell me what you think ---unless its mean

I made a Star Trek film around the same time --- 1977-ish

Thanks I made the cotton ball beard and all of the high end costumes myself.

You definitely need to post your Trek video if possible.

            nice bro.
It's neat to come across something personal after so many years.

I have to ask - but what was the source? 8mm?
If so, how'd the devil did you transfer it without flicker?

I enjoyed that more than "Sucker Punch".

              No lie.

                  it was 8mm

my sister, who found the reels, sent them all off to some company to transfer to dvd. i ripped that dvd and after selecting the sections i needed and converting the file type to mp4 uploaded it to imovie.

the audio i ran the RCA out put jacks of my cassette player to the mic in line and recorded it in garage band.

i saved individual lines as mp3 files in itunes (because i couldn't drag and drop to imovie from garage band)

Doesn't get more 70s than that. Totally looks like Leia could kick Vader's butt when he's capturing her

My only complaint is "peices" in the crawl?

Back in the late 80's I had some of my movies transfered to VHS

At that time it was like $5.00 per single real

Kind of expensive considering a real is only about 3 minutes

there were a couple of typos in the crawl.

Doesn't detract from the awesomeness of it, tho.
