I don't typically see movies at the theater, but I might go out for this one. I love Zack Snyder's directorial style; even if there isn't a whole lot of substance there, the visuals are always memorable. -
Saw it loved it....story made no sense, but hell who freeking cares I wasn't paying to see any Academy Award winning movie. I payed to see hot chicks wielding swords and shooting big guns......Visual eye candy Mmmm mmm yes sir I liked it, I got what I Paid for.

Hmmmm....
After 30+ years of Japanese cartoons, this sort of thing feels kinda old hat to me. (Which is weird, considering how insanomatic the film looks.) But I'll probably catch it on cable in a few months.

My wife is all about this movie so I'll be there to see it, I'll let folks know how we liked it.Leave a comment:

Good review. I'm mainly anti-Snider (did like his Dawn of the Dead), but the clockwork World War One zombies do sound interesting. I wonder why hot babes in short skirts fighting are acceptable to me in 70's or 80's films, but kind of weird and repugnant in new films.Leave a comment:

I'll definitely check it out on blu-ray, but I'm not expecting much besides visual overload and a hefty MEH feeling afterwards.Leave a comment:

I'm going to watch Sucker Punch because I was impressed with the cinematography of 300.Leave a comment:

Sucker Punch--Who's in?
This thing is getting trashed all over the place, but the criticism is so predictable I'm actually more intrigued. It looks like a hot mess, but could be fun to watch.
