Well, appears Robin is not going down without a fight. I have been informed that a company in Montreal (Seville Films) has picked up this project, and is planning on releasing the collection asap! I havent been able to confirm this yet, nor (if true) if they are releasing a French only version, or both?

Yep.
I checked with some folks. Looks like an early January release. Warner dropped out cutting off the distribution end, but Seville will be using its own resources to do so. Amazon seems like the best bet to get them.
