Will The Ice Warriors ever get a DVD release ?

I really like Patrick Troughton's The Ice Warriors.

It's probably one of my favorite Troughtons

I noticed it's been conspicuously left off of Lost In Time --- Like The Invasion.

Does that mean it might someday get it's own release with new animation to fill in the gaps like The Invasion ?

      It's really good.

It introduces the Ice Warriors and they're more scary in it ... Hard to explain

      It's a 6 episode story, but episodes 2 & 3 are lost.

The VHS release replaces these with the original soundtrack and stills.

The missing 2 episodes are actually quite watchable that way.

The lost years dvd's were all the orphan episodes (where less half or less of the episodes of a story exist). They had excluded stories like 10th planet and ice warriors because at the time photo reconstructions weren't viewed as "bad" and I'm sure there was a plan to eventually release them (see the Photo reconstruction of Marco Polo on edge of destruction dvd)
after the animated recon used for invasion photo recons were deemed unacceptable/unwanted (a recon of galaxy 4 was compelted but not released)

it's a shame becuase tenth planet and ice warriors have enough footage to make a recon watchable

10th Planet and Ice Warriors recons were quite watchable ... and that's saying a lot coming from me

When I watched Who asa Teen they had cut a entire story down to 2 hours or less. I much prefer seeing them as they are captured on DVD.
However maybe that could be done with the incomplete Black And White stories.
I dont mind the "Still" photography technique. I first saw Metropolis that way and recentlly London after Midnight.
I just HOPE they do like Star Trek TOS did and after all the stories have been for sale individually the boxed seasons are available.
            I dont want much.
            Just 11 years worth.
