it's not bad. CGI effects are a bit low budget but the story is good and so is the acting so far. I will continue watchign but i really doubt it will last a full season

only the 2 hour pilot and one episode have aired so far. I must say that I really enjoy this show.

I think it's too much like Battle Los Angeles. I had trouble finishing the two hour pilot.

I've been watching this series and I do enjoy it, but I could do without Noah Wyle's character's youngest son. He's kind of a spoiled whiner and probably wouldn't survive long in the type of environment the characters are inhabiting. Moon Bloodgood is looking as hot as ever and I find myself really liking the "bad boy" biker gang leader. He's very charismatic and I could see people (i.e. civilians) easily falling under his sway. Overall, I give it three out of five stars.

Watched this last nite as i recorded it on sky+ i thought it was good but they should of started the story when the aliens 1st arrived,still had me wanting more,shame it was just a hour show,not the 2 hour pilot you guys got.roll on tuesday i will be back for more.

Since the series has already be greenlit for a second season, it wouldn't surprise me at all the see a "flashback" episode (or a series of flashbacks) narrating what specific characters were doing when the invasion started and how they all came to be together.

Thats good to hear that a green light has been granted for a 2nd season,that would be cool if they did a flashback episode to piece it all together,when the aliens started invading.

I am loving the 2nd season so hard. I think it's really spectacular, and I'm so enamoured with it I'm not even going to try to pick it apart or criticize it (I don't even think I could, more importantly I don't want to). I'm elated after every episode.

I haven't been this excited for a show week to week since BSG and the first few weeks of Walking Dead. Darn I wish I had posted earlier in the season though, the finale' is next week (and it looks amazing). All I have to say [spoiler] about this last week's episode is Anarchy! Anarchy! It feels good.

Also, I really like the characters and none of them want me to drive a spike through my eye or slap the TV. Pope is such a b*stard, but dangit he's so loveable. The special effects are constantly making me marvel how they afforded that for a TV show.
And squeeee Matt Frewer has joined the cast! squee
Now Max Headroom can give the aliens a talking smackdown.

I STAY AWAY from spoilers and forums to make sure I keep in the dark about the show, however I can tell you guys it was greenlit for a season 3. I was getting worried since season 2 had a lot going on and most of it felt very rushed. Almost as if they knew the series would not have another season so it seems like the tried to tie up as much as they can. With everything taking place now it could have easily stretched 2 seasons alone if they explored and expanded the side stories a bit more
