    Your Favorite Top-2 Doctor Who's

Whenever we have a favorite Doctor Who list it's always tough because many people are torn between their first Doctor (which people have a lot of nostalgia for) and their actual favorite.

So, this time you can list 2 favorites

Neither one has to be on top either

    Mine are ......

Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker (no surprise)

    How about you ?

Wow, that's like asking who your top 2 favorite kids are. For their unique characters I love them all (except Colin Baker).

If forced, I'd say Tom Baker and David Tennant. Best of the old and best of the new.

Tom Baker and Patrick Troughton. Matt Smith is a very very close third.

For me, my first Doctor was Tom Baker.

My actual favorite was Colin Baker. I loved his snarky attitude.

Pertwee, Tom Baker & sometimes Billy Barty after enough Old Grandad.
70's was it for me. I know Tennant & Eccleston were good, but haven't bonded with new show as much yet.

This is a hard one but Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker are my top 2. David Tennant and Patrick Troughton both get honarable mentions.

              Hmmmm....

Sylvester McCoy and Tom Baker, although the second guy is a contender. If only more of his stuff was available....

I'd be forced to agree. I believe Mr. Tennant edges out Peter Davison for me, but Peter will always have a warm home in my heart and memories.., of a simpler time.

                      I'm having 2 old and 2 new.

Jon Pertwee & Tom Baker because that is what i grew up with.

David Tennant & Christopher Ecclestone because if they had not been great, Dr Who would have died a quick death again.

JOn and Tom for me too

Tom was my first and was wonderful but once I saw Jon and Unit he became my favorite

and in addition both of them were wonderful to me when I met them. a real bonus. Both took their job as the Doctor very seriously and always played up to kids when then met them (I was 10 and 11 respectively)

Is there ever Dr Who conventions in the US nowadays ?

If so, do classic Dr's ever attend ?

I never heard of a convention since the show went off the air in 89

My first choice is definitely Tom Baker - he was the first Doctor the I saw and will always be THEE Doctor for me.
Second, well if we are only talking old series then Jon Pertwee but if you include the new Doctors then David Tennant.
