What color was the suit supposed to really be? I thought I saw a color pic at one point that was a light blue....Might have been a "colorized" B/W pic though I don't recall....

I don't think there is any surviving color photos.
Everything you see has been colorized --- which usually makes the shirt a blue-turquoise.
Sometimes it's red. -
Just stumbled across this photo of a color cover to Look Magazine from 1938 which made me remember this thread.
