Never say Never again was by far the worst and most boring bond flick. it was not even made by Al Brocoli

I liked Moonraker, it is 70's cheese at it's best. not the best Bond movie by any stretch but fun to watch.
I am in the camp that Roger Moore was the best, because he was who I gre up with as Bond. connery would have been great but his movies were too cartoonish. I liked Living daylights but not Dalton. I loved Goldeneye but the other 3 brosnen flicks were Meh at best....except Hale Berry in the orange bikini.
I like Craig. he is the first actor to play the part who really looks like he can kick major ***. Wish the studios would get their **** together so they can make more movies with him while he is still interested and still young enough to pull it off.

I like Moonraker. I think it's a lot of fun. Liked it as a kid and still like it now.

I think Moonraker is widely considered the worst Bond movie. For me, it's Live and Let Die. I just can't stand that sheriff. Second would be a close race between Moonraker and View To a Kill. I agree that Thunderball is boring (it bogs down underwater), but On Her Majesty's Secret Service is one of the top Bonds of all time.

Our local arthouse movie theater played From Russia With Love 10 or so years ago. I took my son thinking it would be cool to see an old Bond flick on the big screen. To date it is the only movie I have ever feel FAST asleep while watching, both in the theater and on TV.

Well, he also almost sank The Man With the Golden Gun in his hilarious surprise appearance.

Sheriff J W Pepper was fantastic in LALD, i love that film.

He was really funny during the fantastic speedboat chase sequence.

I felt that Moore did well in his first three (Live and, Golden Gun and Spy who), then it all became a bit too "funny" for me.
My Bond favorites are From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Spy who loved me, and Man with the Golden Gun. That's Connery and Moore, both in their early years.

If Jaws hadn't turned to the Good Side, Moonraker would have been a lot better....

I have to disagree

For me, Jaws turning good was the highpoint of Moonraker

Bond's deadliest enemy turning good and helping Bond save the world was pure genius writing.

If he didn't, today instead of Jaws being a superstar in Bond circles he would be just another baddy.

I like Moore. It's some of the movies that failed him. I think I like For Your Eyes Only the best of his, followed by The Spy Who Loved Me. I think For Your Eyes Only definitely went more bare bones with less camp.

Comparing Connery's and Moore's ..........

I like Moore's individual scenes and scenarios better than Connerys ...

Example: ... some people might not like Spy Who Loved Me, but everyone loves Bond coming out of the water in his Lotus Esprit subcar ....

I could go on forever....

Connery really didn't have too many outstanding individual scenes like that.

Take Goldfinger .... EVERYONE (including me) loves Goldfinger, but its hard to name a really cool individual outstanding scene.

I think For Your Eyes only is the best of the franchise....but that is just me and probably because it came out when I was first discovering Bond. it is a little dated to watch now, because of the fashions and so on but still a fun movie to watch.
Moore's movies started becoming to tongue and cheek with all the little comedy moments they kept putting in. Octopussy was not horrible but not great either. View to a Kill was awful. pretty much anything with Grace Jones in it is bound to be awful
