Fun movie, and great poster!
If you look closely (I have the poster in my collection), her space suit has "open cleavage". They put a nice bubble around her head, but apparently her breasts are enough to vacuum seal that big opening in the suit.
To hell with the laws of science, cleavage rules!!!!!
And on closer inspection, her hands are bare, too.
Why did my eye never wander to her hands......

I DVR'd this when it was on Turner Classic Movies awhile back and it was nearly unwatchable for me. I fast-forward-watched through most of it. There are some movies cheesy enough that they are cult classic and then there are movies that just plain bad in my opinion. From what I recall this falls somewhere in between.

You just didn't get the complex social interaction between the characters, the pathos from these poor rejected Slime Creatures trying to fit in our xenophobic and hectic society, and the problems women have getting proper airtight spacesuits in a work environment where men just want to see cleavage.
And let's not forget the issue of little people having to portray a three-dimensional character, covered by 50 pounds of latex. Can't you feel their pain?
You really need to look for the subtext in these kind of quality productions....
