I've noticed that the soon to be rare Six Million Dollar Man 5-disc "Bonus Set" has been popping up on eBay a few times. I have the box and can tell you it is amazing! Especially the bonus features.

I wonder how many people are buying extra SMDM sets just to split them up and sell them on Ebay and probably make a bit extra.

There is actually a whole featurette on the bonus disc devoted to the Kenner toy line. It was cool, but I would have liked it to have been a little more in depth. It really only talks about the figures and doesn't really go into the various play sets and accessories.

Yeah, we talked about the toy feature on another thread here. Most agreed it was too "nerd" heavy showing these dorks playing with the figures, instead of showcasing the line. It was the only low moment in the box set.

i still say wait a while and this whole set will be at least half the price, if not lower

yeah probably couple years or so.

I'm thinking it will probably keep most of it's value because .............

1. It is limited and MANY SMDM people have already bought it (taking away from the amount waiting to be sold) ... Probably more than Time-Life/Universal expected.

2. There's 99.999% change the tons of bonus stuff won't be on the future Universal season releases.

3. The way it's presented (nice talking box etc) makes it an official SMDM collectible
