I read this thread title like 8 times till I just realized what it was about.
Oh I remember Hardware Wars. I thought it was awesome. Of course I was probably like 13 and haven't seen it in a long time.

I loved it as a kid, too. Is it on YouTube? I haven't seen it since probably 1980 or 81. Now I will agree that it wasn't a great laugh riot, but it was funny in places and to me fun all around like a MAD magazine spoof. Who can't think of the planet Basketball and smile?

Mike you and I usually agree but I am on the other side here. I first saw harware wars in like 79 and I loved it. When I was in college the local movie house ran the original star wars one night and my best bud and I went. At the scene where ben "Feels" the death of Alderann he and I both said "no it's just a headache" at the same time and were shocked the other one knew aboutr it

When it was released on VHS in 93 I had to buy a copy.
