I never seen the show but i'm guessing it's still pretty popular because I always hear the name around.

The reviewer is right, Sci Fi is basically Spike TV now -- which is totally unwatchable.

Wonder why a company that has cornered the market on a genre would throw it away ?

I watched it once and really didn't like it. The plot line is hard to follow. They are cancelling shows with nothing of substance to replace them and their version of Being Human isn't enthusing me at all.

This could be because they are shifting gears on Galactica again. Caprica is cancelled and they are going to do the 1st Cylon war with young fighter pilot Adama. If they intend to show dogfights and armies of Cylons every week it's going to cost them a ton of cash for those SPFX.

I watched part of the first season it was the latest Stargate series that was a knock off of Star trek TNG spinoff (atlantis was DS9 and Universe was voyager) which was a bad premise to start from and it just got worse i can't belive it got a second season to begin with. now we can have a ww2 or vietnam era setting for a stargate prequel to mimic Enterprise

Yeah , it was all lost in space to me. i watched the first 10 episodes and then stopped.
SYFY is going the way all old themed channels are. being taken over by cheaper reality garbage and the theme is gone. even MTV is NO LONGER "MUSIC TELEVISION"
CMT is just a rerun station and no country music there.

We have a channel in Canada called Space. I love Space. Its everything syfy should be but I don't think they have the money to do high budget original shows. They do have one called Todd and the Book of Pure Evil which is HILARIOUS. Its a bit raunchy but it never fails to make me chuckle. It has Jason Mews (Jay from Jay and Silent Bob) as the high school janitor who dishes out bad advice to these kids on a regular basis.

Does anyone really care about either one of these shows? Stargate has run its course 4 years ago this series was just the quest for more cash hope to eek out a little market share from the faithful. ( i watched it via on demand for a while so I could skip commercials but even that became a chore) and galactica 90210 get real.

I loved seasons 1 and 2 (then it went to an impossible to follow soap opera ) for the new BSG now I want a reboot to the old
