All I can tell you is, the title becomes more relevant after you've seen the movie. You will like what they did for Tron and his human counter part.

Yes, he did. He was pretty much the main character in the grid for the first one.
As for the new one, not sure and can only speculate.

I still have both my VHS and DVD copies. There going no where! And Mike you are so right. The current generation wouldn't know quality if it licked them across the face. If it doesn't have ill-conceived dance tracks, lip-synced by untalented pretty boys who smile like girls, it doesn't interest the young generation today.

From what I understand a digital version was showcased in L.A. with dismal reviews so Disney feared this would affect sales of the second. So they decided to pull it and await for the demand of the first one to rise and market the BR two-pack.
Marketing gimmick? I think so. Disney does this ALL the time.
Luckily we were able to get it on Netflix before they pulled it since my daughters wanted to watch it.
Also, check the values of the DVDs on ebay. Now it is your chance to sell your $9.99 copy for over $100 since it will be re-released on BR and DVD.
But you didn't hear it from me.

I hope it develops some legs. It's a good movie and deserves success. Of course next weekend Jeff Bridges competes against himself when 'True Grit' comes out. The reviews are awesome! A win/win for Jeff!
and I bet it was the 35 and over crowd that made $ 43 million happen .the new generation wouldnt know a great film if it bit them in the arse!

Just got back from seeing the movie and loved every minute of it! My wife suffered through it but I remained completely geeked out the whole time with a grin from ear to ear. Hope it gets a sequel.

Not one second of disappointment for me but then I'm a huge fan.
The sound track was amazong! Vangelis Blade Runner meets John Carpenter with a modern techno twist.
