The first movie I remember him in was "Platoon" and he was my favorite character because he was one of the few that made sense when everything was catawampus.
He was perfect as The Centre in "New Frontier" and as the Narrator for "Comic Book Superheroes Unmasked".

Agreed, Keith David is great in Platoon, as well as Carpenter's The Thing. He shows up There's Something about Mary, too

The problem with remakes is they'd make it too intricate to follow.

There would be like 5 stories all going on at once.

We'd have to also see the Aliens point of view and there would even be Aliens against what's happening.

Finally it wouldn't have a proper ending because it would open itself up to sequels.

A remake would ruin the perfect simplicity of it.

remember The Fog and Assault of Precint 13 remakes not Rob Zombie films and sucked! But I agree Zombie sucks DB how he ever got to be a director is beyond me
