Wow !!!!
I thought "no companions will be made"
Great figure and i'm so glad they didn't make Sarah as the first
I'm kind of sick of Sarah lately
This gives me hope someday we might see Jo and UNIT
BTW, the sculptor who did those legs deserves extra credit on this one -
Would never work ... It would be too hard to pick one companion for each Doctor ........
Troughton era .... Jamie or Zoe ?
Pertwee era .... Liz of Jo ?
Baker era .... Sarah, Leela or Romana 1 or 2 ?
Davison era .... Tegan or Nyssa ?
etcComment

Nicola Bryant is still stuning and her native English accent is so nice on the ears but I digress
Like Mike I have to think picking 1 companion for each Doctor would be really hard (except maybe for Mcgann). Some wouldn't be too hard. I am a huge Audio who fan but I am sticking to visual media here
1st - too many to pick a definitive I guess Susan but Ian and Barbera were with him longest on air
2nd - Jamie. he served as a companion almost as long as Troughton was the Doctor (Highlanders was Troughton's 2nd Story) and of course he was the companion for the 2 Doctors
3rd - Tough I guess most would say Jo (I would vote for the Brig simply as he apears in more stories with 3 than Jo)
4th - I would want Leela but Sarah has more Tardis time with 4 than anyone else
5th - Teegan has the most episodes with 5 so I guess she wins by default but I'd rather Nyssa
6th - Peri has more time with 6 than Mel so I agree she is the choice
7th - Mel or Ace tough choice for time with the doctorbut in the end I couldn't stand Ace and I like many of the Mel stories
8th - Grace and Change are the only TV companions. Chang is a lackey for the Master through most of it and Grace is the sidekick through the majority of the filmComment

I had the great fortune to be sitting next to her on a quiz at a Who convention in Wolverhampton years ago, I kept whispering the answers to her and she...GASP!!!!..put her hand on my leg just above the knee in thanks every time I passed her an answer....suffice to say that spot has never been washed ...actually I really need to see a doctor about that spot...it's possibly gangreen now..lol.
As to other companions, there were Sarah Jane figures released for the 'Sarah Jane Adventures'. I personally think they've missed out by bringing out the various TARDIS toys with Doctors...it would have been more lucrative to package them with a companion as I am reluctant to buy them all if I already have the Doctor in question as in the William Hartnell TARDIS.ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF ITBritish by birth....English by the grace of God.
Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....

I find it odd to start with Peri, I really like Nicola Bryant but I'm not really fond of her era.
Count me in as a person who wants a Sarah Jane figure.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Right now I think the there are more fans of the JNT era than any other (not counting today's era)
The JNT kids are the "our age" collectors today
If it was me though, and I had to choose a JNT era companion I would have released Tegan in her stewardess uniform to kick off the campanions.Comment

Also hoping for a decent Sarah Jane figure, perhaps a vintage TARDIS control room. The wood-paneled one from 'Mandragora' would be awesome, guess I'll have to customize one someday.Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

Underground Toys and Character Options have proven to be very somewhat dishonest in the way they produce figures. I'm still buying them and paying their high prices because they are the best quality figures I've seen in that scale but these guys really have a racket going by saying we won't make that figure then they turn around and make it.Comment

If you wanted more sales wouldn't you do the opposite and say -- YES, WE ARE GOING TO MAKE THAT (even if you weren't planning on it) just to increase sales of the stuff already released ?
See to me saying NO COMPANIONS WILL BE MADE would tend to hurt current sales rather than help.Comment
