I got my set delivered to my door Saturday! Wow! That was quick! I've been digesting the special features disc which is just a load of fun. I don't think I have ever been this excited about ANY DVD release in my life. An absolute treasure that will take literally weeks to go through. I'm SO GLAD I got it. Nothing they put out at a later date commercially can ever top this...or measure up to it on any level.

I told you that 6th box set with all the documentaries just for this release is amazing ,the Lee Majores interview is 1: 25 minutes alone will never get released commercially

And you also have specials with each season too. Jeez! This is a workout...but it's also a labor of love. Absolutely awesome. My only criticism is on the action figures segment. I thought the approach was a little degrading by showing these guys playing with the toys. I was expecting a detailed showcase of all the merchandise (at least from Kenner). But what we got were three big time nerds playing with season one figures like it was a joke. It was a little embarrassing.

yeah I saw that. I have personally have a a better quality collection that the those three nerds showed some of those boxes were really bad condition and one of the figures the button in the back didnt even work lame! .they should have been done more with class and talked about the lines with more respect and even had somebody from Kenner that worked on the line back in 75 .Like Richard Anderson said in his interview they are Historic Pieces now!

I absolutely agree Mike. Clearly the studio was thinking only 40 year old virgins collected this stuff and so that was the treatment they gave it. Very sad. What's worse they didn't even cover the figures made after that. I have the first and second edition SMDM figures still in their box and the third edition (with the biosonic arm) loose. I have Big Foot, Maskatron, and Oscar all boxed. And also the special assignment arms and legs both boxed. I think the last thing I have boxed is the transport, repair station. I also have a bunch of loose Steve Austins each wearing the different outfits he came with - civilian outfit, space, and air force jump suit. It was a fun time to have those figures. Some of the best ever made.

You should listen to the commentary from Kenneth Johnson on Season 3 'Secret of Bigfoot'. It's really good. He does a mini-profile of everyone who shows up in this episode, including Lindsey Wagner. It was funny. He said when Stallone did Nighthawks with her, he had to stand on a milk carton for some scenes because she was taller than him. Now THAT'S a behind-the-scenes shot I would love to see.

                      Interesting

IMDB has both their heights at 5' 9½"

I didn't know she was that tall

Yep. There were three made-for-TV films created prior to the series. This was the opening sequence for the third installment. The director was trying to give him a "James Bond" approach. It was thankfully scrapped for the series.
