My Time-Life SMDM set arrived TODAY!!

It is AWESOME!!!

The collector's box is super cool...it has various scenes on it along with some really nice embossed circuitry running all over the outside.

The lid is lenticular and shows Steve Austin running when you tilt it. When you open the lid, you get the show's opening monologue by Richard Anderson.

The box on mine was perfect, but I am concerned for other people's sets in general because the set, while shrinkwrapped, is shipped loose inside a box with plenty of room to jostle about. Some people may end up with dinged corners or loose discs as a result.

I had one loose disc out of 40, but I was lucky. No damage to it.

I know what I'm doing tonight....dah dah dah daah!

Go to the Time Life website and look up your order status and you'll probably find that it has shipped. Time Life doesn't email a shipping notification.

I ordered mine on September 15th, and I'm in NE Ohio. Time-Life sent me a tracking number for DHL, but then DHL handed it over to the post office in Kentucky. Kinda weird.

I like the individual plastic season boxes with tray pages.

I hate when they sell seasons in those fold out cardboard things that usually either don't hold the discs good --- or holds them so tight you snap them trying to get them out.

This case looks perfect.

Mine was in Jersey as of 4 am (I'm in NY)and that was the last update. I bet it comes in the next couple days.

I'm such a nerd people I know have already concluded I video tape the arrival of merchandise too.
