I agree, but I don't like when the extra's expand the issue into a 2-disc set.

It just raises the price up for people who mostly just want the story itself.

I definately want to pick up the US TV movie. I enjoyed it when it originally aired.

Actually I always liked it too despite the "half human" bit and a co starring role with one of the worlds worst B movie actors Eric Roberts making fun of the brit accent

I'm kind of the opposite.

When the TV movie first aired I made an effort to be there to watch it.

I was very let down by it (at the time).

Today i've mellowed on it bigtime and have changed my tune to actually liking it, but back then I almost hated it.

Some things I didn't like --- at that time .....

1. The titles and theme

2. Grace (she just annoyed me)

3. Screwing with continuity

4. The Doctor (he seemed very weak - especially having followed a strong Doctor like McCoy)

5. The TARDIS control room (thought it was too Hollywood looking)

6. The Doctor's suit (looked too 60's for a 90's Doctor)

The only thing I did like about it (at that time) was Eric Roberts.
Thought he made a great Master.

But I have mellowed on it and half like it today.

I watched it when it first aired and really liked it, it has some things I don't like about it but I loved the Tardis design and though McGann had the potential to be a great Doctor.

I wish BBC-DVD would stop rereleasing already released stories and get more unreleased ones out there.

Release the "special editions" AFTER all the stories have been released.

I'm glad to se the 96 movie will be released in the US finally. Jon is one of my favorite Docs.

I always thought Paul McGann was a good Doctor, I loved the costume which looked like a throw back to Hartnell. They did a great job updating the programme, making it look mean and moody. They even managed to make McCoy look good, which isn't an easy task!

I'm still hoping that one day McGann will make an appearance in the new Who.

That's one problem with the FOX movie for me ... It really makes me miss McCoy.

I wish he didn't regenerate and played the movie out himself.
