Anyone watching this series still? Not quite as good as Life on Mars, but I'm enjoying the 80's cop show pastiche styling.

I only seen about 3/4's of season-1.

From what i've seen it's not a bad show but I lost interest pretty fast.

One of my problems was I can only understand about half of what the head cop say's.
Shame I don't understand English

I watched season 1 and liked it but I haven't been keeping up with it. Life on Mars was my absolute favorite though.

Watched Season 1 & 2, but really forced myself to watch the second half of season two. It's not nearly as interesting as Life on Mars. For me, the worst of it is the secondary characters like Ray & that weird looking girl cop. They add nothing to the series at all. And yes, it's hard to understand Gene Hunt's accent. BBC America actually adds captions sometimes.
