On the east coast it was interrupted by the Egypt/Israel peace accord signed at Camp David. I always thought that was ironic because the first show has the fake peace conference pulled by the Cylons. It was a Sunday night and, at least in the DC area, they played the show in its entirety, so I was surprised my mom let me stay up late to finish watching it. The show was quite the discussion in school the next day. It's all good!Comment

I missed all of it but the last 30 minutes because I had to go to some cousin's wedding. I was 9 years old. What the heck was I gonna do at a dumb wedding!?!?!? In a way I'm so glad my relatives don't like my family. I never have to go to a family function again!Comment

My wife bought me the DVD set along with Galactica 1980 last year for my birthday. I really like this show.Comment

I was on my 'high-horse' originally not wanting to watch it because I felt it was too much of a SW rip-off.. Being a sci-fi lover, not sure why I still didn't watch it, but I really got into it later on in the season.
It really started coming together when Anne Lockhart came on, it started becoming more than the sum of it's parts by adding more secondary characters (security forces, etc..).

Great show.
First saw the theatrical release version at my local drive in, and then later saw the "Saga of a Star World" version when it was aired on TV. I remember noticing the extra scenes and differences.
Still my favourite TV series.PUNY HUMANS!Comment
