Got to bring up the episode of Twilight Zone where he's an astronaut. Love to watch that, then Planet of the Apes. You almost get a shoe is on the other foot feeling when watching that. Oh and if you can sit through it,Cleopatra. Dude rocks as Augustus Caesar.

It's hard to choose this, I thought he was great in fantastic journey, and in fright night, and charlie chan and the curse of the dragon queen as the crotchety old butler.

but for me it has to be the Psychic from the Legend of Hell House, he played the tourterd soul of him so well made the movie for me

Fright Night's the easy answer for me, but my parents are awfully fond of How Green was My Valley.

So many roles, such limited space!

For me, my favorite Roddy roles were:

The Night Gallery as the Black Sheep Nephew (Jeremy something or other)

Mephistopheles on Fantasy Island. He and Ricardo Montalban had GREAT chemistry in those two episodes.

                Octavian/Augustus Ceasar in Cleopatra.

Hugh in How Green Was My Valley.

In Lassie, I think the character's name was David, but don't quote me. That was one of my favorites.

A lot of great picks on here. I'm pretty sure he was on the second or third episode of "The Invaders" - it stands out as one of the best ones because of him.

I think he was on an episode of Buck Rogers too.

I think he was a king or something.

POSEIDON ADV/OVERBOARD are the only films I know him from, so I'd choose those.

it's hard to remember all of what he acted in. you have all mentioned things I had totally forgotten about. The man acted since he was a little boy. wans't he in one o the early Lassie movies? how about the Longest Day? the man just had nataural talent. it was a sad day when he passed and he was so young too.
He will always be a chimp to me. I just never could see him in other roles after loving POTA so much. but he was grat asd Bookworm in Batman and he was grewat in Fright Night, and he was great in the twilight Zone where they end up being the attraction in the alien zoo.
