I've always thought the Kirk vs Gorn was a signature fight. He really had to use his brain to beat that big thing.

That ep is call Arena.

I like the Gorn fight. I like 2 Spock fights w/ Kirk in the transporter room, (This Side Of Paradise) and of course, Amok Time.

Yep, the Gorn. The Kirk vs. Khan fight is marred by the completely unnecessary cuts to obvious stuntmen in long shots. I'll never understand why they filmed that episode that way. Shatner was seen on camera doing far more than what the stunt guys did in that one.

Kirk vs. Gary Mitchell from "Where No Man..." is a good fight too. The roll, grab and blast with the phaser rifle was a well played move.
