Yeah, it all became confusing....dont forget there was a cartoon series too!

the series...or a new series...should follow one immortal through time, from his start, to his eventual end (whatever that may be?). Other than that, phooey!

the 2nd and 3rd movie were ignored for the TV series as if they never happened...I guess for the 2nd it would not have occurred yet since it was in the future....bottom line they were poorly concieved movies and should remain forgotten. the story for the first movie was altered so that Connor did not wi the prize, only killed the Kurgan and had a quickening.....a little revisionist history

TV series was a different imortal - Duncan Macleod, same clan, different lineage. Duncan was born around 50 years after Connor was driven out. Connor comes back and finds Duncan and trains him in the ways of imortals. Connor only appeared in the 1st episode of the TV series and then was only mentioned here and there.

after the show ended, they did one movie with Connor and Duncan and yet another imortal from their clan, as the villain. Connor sacrifices himself to Duncan so Duncan will be strong enough to kill this new imortal.
after that they did yet another horrible movie set in the future and with Duncan as the hero. that movie is the worst of all and should be burned.
as a side note, there was a direct to video animated movie in the manga style that was pretty cool. did not have anything to do with the other series.

I like the original, it had a good premise for an ongoing series of films, but the ending left them with no where to go. I could actually see a reboot of this series making more sense than what they did with the original series of films.

As long as there is no mention of the planet Zeist or any of that crap.

Mikey and Brian, you should check it out and then follow it up with Endgame.

                      I loved the 1st movie.
And really enjoyed the TV series when it originally aired.
