    Gary Kurtz on Star Wars

Spotted this at toymania. It's a very good read. Lots of insight on what actually went on developing the original trilogy and how he felt the toys became the focus over the story.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. great article now I know when Lucas became a putz ! it was after Empire in 1980. so by the time he was making the pre-quels in 1999 he was a lost cause and still is to this day.this LA Times article may sting Lucasfilm a bit? actually it may wake up George? then again he may go back in to a coma
