Which Classic Dr Who's were epic ?

    Trying to imagine ....
Which Classic Dr Who stories were the most epic ?

My picks would be (not in order of epic-ness)

    The Dalek Invasion of Earth
    The War Games
    Planet of the Spiders
The Seeds of Doom (still thinking about this one)
    Genesis of the Daleks
    Remembrance of the Daleks

    what's your picks ?

    The Dalek Invasion of Earth
    The Chase
    The War Games
    Invasion of the Dinosaurs
    The Time Monster
    Death to the Daleks
    The Pirate Planet
    City of Death
    The Five Doctors
    Remembrance of the Daleks

The BBC bundled these together and tho today we call it a Story Arc I think these make for a good epic storyline:

    Keeper of Traken-Logopolis-Castrovalva

Think about it. Before they could send Tom Baker on his way they had to set it up 12 episodes ahead of time-3 stories in advance. Only in Patrick Troughton's case did this also happen, ( The War Games 14 episodes - they knew he was likely leaving at the end).

    Tho they don't exist anymore:

    The Dalek Master Plan
    Web of Fear

The stories The Ark in Space, The Sontaran Experiment, Genesis of the Daleks and Revenge of the Cybermen form a kind of story arc, and are pretty epic if you watch them all back to back!

The Key to Time season is also fairly epic.
