Is this a good fit for ol' stoneyface? -
Stallone's face was really close to the Brian Bolland Dredd. The original movie has plenty of parts to pick at, but I thought it did capture the feel of the character and books. The side-kick character hurt the movie with Rob Schneider I think. Karl Urban did a great job with Star Trek. I just don't think he has the look.

Stallone LOOKED awesome as JD. Movie sucked and Rob Schneider was totally worthless as usual.

....eh.... Dredd's NOT an attractive guy; you can tell by the 10% of his head you see in the comic. They need someone like Rondo Hatton.

I think despite danny cannon saying he was a fan it looked to me like he read the cursed earth saga, apocolypse war and the judge child quest compendiums and nothing else, if they wanted dredd to have a sidekick it should have been walter the wobot
, I think an apperance of judge anderson in skintight uniform would have heled it

I actually liked most of the Stallone movie. It's only flaw was some poorly crafted dialogue in places. Outside of that, it was a well made film. Sadly under rated.Comment

Well.... Hershey in the movie was pretty much Anderson from the comic, without the psi. (In the comic, Hershey is pretty much Dredd with boobs.) But if you put Anderson in the film, it would have been a VERY short movie. "Hey Dredd; Rico's gonna attack the Hall of Justice next week."

I dunno.... he doesn't really have the force of will. He's more like a big jock type; not a figure of terror and menace.
