Aw Yeah!
Jekyll was fantastic. Big Sherlock fan here. I'm on board this one.
The last time someone tried a contemporary Sherlock Holmes film that worked surprisingly well was The Zero Effect (if you buy Ben Stiller as Watson).

Yeah, Jeckyll was one of my favourite series of the past couple of years.
I've never seen Zero Effect but have wanted to, I can buy Ben Stiller in a serious role easier than a comedic one sometimes.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

When will Sherlock be airing?
For me, Ben Stiller always works best when he's playing it straight/deadpan rather than the kind of cinematic mugging he does in Zoolander and Dodge Ball.

They essentially loosely adapted A Scandal in Bohemia. A surprisingly assured directorial debut by Lawrence Kasden's son, Jake Kasden.Comment

Watched the pilot last night and I can't get over how well done this is. There is very little updating here, technology is added and everyone assumes Holmes and Watson are a couple but otherwise it really retains the same flavour.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Finally got around to seeing the first one.
I really enjoyed it quite a bit. Although I couldn't help thinking "Princess Bride".

Watching all three episodes, I couldn't help thinking the guy who played Sherlock would make a great Doctor Who.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

Loved Jekyll, looking forward to this one as well. I can live with an updated version as long as they stay true to the original characters"...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan PoeComment
