Cool Star Fighter Thread!

So if you were in a mega-space battle, what would you want to be flying?
I think I'd have to go with either a vintage BSG Viper, Buck Rogers (80s tv) fighter or maybe an E3 Jedi star fighter.

The Viper from Classic BSG has always been one of my favorites even more than the SW X Wing which might have been the first space fighter ship I ever saw.

First nerdly point: is Nell a starfighter or a cruiser? Second: The VF-1 is nice, but howzabout a VF-1A Super?

And I'd hafta go with the Gundam RX-93 with fin/funnel system.

Gunstar for me. Havent seen anything to beat a "Death Blossom" yet. Plus it helps having a scaly back up engineer to monitor things while I'm vaping enemy slime.

as much as I like the classic Viper, the Rapiers from Wing comander and the Gun Star I think it would definatley have to be bucks starfighter

I'd be in an X-Wing, or Vader's TIE Fighter, or a TIE Interceptor.

Since the variants packs are in essence weapon upgrades I lump them all together for this purpose my favorite is the strike variant with the big gun in the space jets
