You want to see a hilarious Gene Simmons movie? See if you can find a copy of "Never too young to die". He plays a transvestite killer who actually has a scene where he gets bit in the boobies and screams with his eyes rolled back in his head. I never laughed so hard in my life.

I have it on DVD. Love to have one of those spiders.

In several scenes in the office of Gene Simmons on Gene Simmons Family Jewels, you can see that Gene does indeed have one of the prop robot spiders.

BTW, saw Runaway when it came out in the theater for the sole reason that it had Gene Simmons (but I kinda like Tom Sellack too)

Cynthia Rhodes... I know your favorite scene too... the last scene in the movie. Where Cynthia is starring at Selleck with those big, blue Doe eyes and he waltzes over and they suck face through the movie credits. Poor guy!!!!!

Gene Simmons helped develop the short-lived Sable series based on Mike Grell's comic. He planned to star in it, and i think they filmed a pilot with him as Sable. ABC was interested, but only if they ditch Gene, and so they did. And Sable only lasted maybe 8 or so episodes.

I had forgotten they made that show about John Sable Freelance! I really can't see Simmons in the role of Sable.

I didn't check if GOLAN GLOBUS had any production credits on RUNAWAY...
still, I thought it MUST be mentioned that this thing was written
AND directed by Michael "JURASSIC PARK" Crichton.

I guess the directing thing never really took off for him...he sure as heck
made a killing with his novels though.

That's a great anecdote. I read about it years ago. I comented
