I'm guessing the stone dalek is left as a guardian to protect the pandorica.

With the Time Lords and Rassilon being the last series bad guys, and the Master already "done", who else is left in Doctor's Rogues Gallery? It was implied earlier in the season with the Dream Lord that he was at odds with himself. Someone mentioned they did this previously in the Seventh Doctor's series?

I was just watching The Three Doctors, and Omega wouldn't seem to carry that kind of weight (unless he's reappeared since then?). I don't know enough about the Rani to say about her.
Omega had a second appearance in Arc of Infinity (davison season 2) and in 1 BF audio (OMEGA)

i am still waiting for the real cybermen to come back (you know the ones from Mondas and Telos not the ones from an alternate earth)

The rani was OK but if we are going to the "evil timelord" well then I'd rather see a Master who wasn't so "insane" as John Simm
s and more of a plotter like Roger's was

The ICE Warriors would benefit from the modern era effects with minimal redesigns (even less reqork than they gave Sontarans) and I for one would love to see what could be done with the Celestial Toymaker with modern effects

Please god no no no. Rose as pretty as she is needs to just GO AWAY and they need to stop using the Davros card for Dalek stories

I personally think the Rani is over-rated.

Many fans put her high in Dr Who badguy polls but I don't think she deserves it.

Mark of the Rani was "ok" but in such a lousy season "ok" is bumped up to great by many.

Time and the Rani, forget it.

It would be alright to bring her back for an episode, but I don't think she deserves a season finale.

The Rani was in two marginal stories at best and I found Kate O'Mara too over the top in them.

After having Rassalon and the Time Lords as a season finale last year everything else is going to be a tough or impossible act to follow.

If this finale turns out to be a clunker Moffatt should consider going back to Classic style and not have a big finale every year.

He should have the Doctor lose the screwdriver.
It's annoying how much Smith uses it.
I miss the old days when the Doctor had to be a bit of a McGuiver in tough spots - after all he is the smartest guy in the universe.
I can save the universe with a kettle and a piece of string

The first 4 seasons and the 2009 specials of the modern show are available from Netflix and Blockbuster online and probably some Brick & mortar BB stores for rental. Even some public LIbraries stock it to borrow. Also they rerun on BBC america frequently on weekdays

the original show is touger to get. I can say netflix stocks vintage who not sure about BB online (most BB stores dont though) but every surviving episode (124 stories worth over 35 years) was released to VHS so for the third that hve been upgraded to dvd the tape versions are cheap. I just gave away most of my upgrades

That was probably JNT's fault. He had Ainley over-act the Master all the time as well.

The Rani was ok in the "Mark"

But "Time" was just over the top bad.

It's like that story along with Paradise Towers was written for small children.

Meh, it's not very good IMO.

I agree, but nothing was very good during the Colin era.

If anything it was more tolerable than others.

The scenery was nice - think it was filmed in a historic village
