^ I think for awhile there "The Encounter" was not part of the syndication packages because of the racial overtones to the story..In fact, it still might not be...I think the last time I saw it was on DVD actually

Up until the DVD's I never saw "Passage Of The Lady Anne", "The Encounter" and "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge".
Most of the other hour long ones I was able to see at one time or another throughout the years.Comment

^ To my knowledge "Owl Creek Bridge" will never been shown in syndication....I think it has something to do with the fact that it was a short film that was purchased for but not produced specifically for TZ. The original purchase was for two airings during the original run of TZ (first time and then one re-run). They were able to include it in the DVD sets though.Think OUTSIDE the Box! There are a few other episodes that were originally not part of the syndication package for one reason or another....several of which were because they were lawsuits involving certain episodes based on the assumption that story ideas/plots were swiped. Not sure if these have since been resolved and are once again part of the package.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I think by virtue of their nature, the hour episodes never get played unless they are incorporated into a marathon...and even then it's usually during the overnight hours or a small block during the day. I think only once did I see a TZ marathon that devoted a large portion of the schedule to the hour shows.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment
